Beds by Design came to life in 2005, harboring a goal of educating the public on a better way to purchase mattresses as well as how to get a better night sleep. After spending years designing and producing Sleep Systems for another company, David Bjorkman and Chad Yde saw much room for improvement in many areas of the mattress industry. So, in the entrepreneurial spirit America was built on, Beds by Design was born.

With over 35 years of combined bedding industry experience, our staff focuses on educating the public on all the different areas that affect sleep, including mattresses. Because everybody is different and have different issues with sleep, we work with clients individual issues so we can address them one at a time, building a sleep system that suits them. We believe that there is a lot more in finding the right sleep system than going to a furniture store and working with people that are selling sofas and dining room sets and who have never seen inside of a mattress. The right mattress isn’t piece of furniture or the “$99 any size special” you see on TV commercials… It’s a place we spend 1/3 of our lives getting the rest that we need for a much healthier active lifestyle.
